Underneath every post made on this site, there is a little button titled "Report off topic or abusive post". We check every post that we can, but it would be almost impossible for us to check every one. So, we would be grateful if you would use this handy little tool if you feel that a post is breaking the rules. What happens then is, that post will become flagged up for moderators. We can then go in and review it. When it has been dealt with, you will get a PM from the system telling you so. It is far more quicker doing this, than bitching about it in the same thread that the a moderator hasn't been, in hope that we develop psychic powers, read your mind, and go to deal with it. Thanks [ This message was edited by: Doyley on 2009-03-24 01:42 ]

During recent events that I have attended, I have been approached on several occasions by people asking me how to post on uk8ball so I have decided to make a set of simple instructions on the basics of the site. RegistrationIn order to reply to any topics on uk8ball you need to register. This is a quick and simple process. To register, go to http://www.uk8ball.com/user.php?op=registerYou will be presented with two boxes asking for your desired username and your E-mail address as shown below. Hit “Register” and you will then be asked to confirm your registration details. If all is correct hit “Yes” and you will then be given a confirmation of your username and a password that is randomly selected. On the same page there will be a box that you can then use to log in. Starting a New TopicOn any page on uk8ball there is a link that will take you to the forum page. It is located in the top right hand corner. Once you are on the forum page, select the subject, from the list at the bottom, which is relevant to your topic. On the following page, click the button that says “New Topic” which is located near the top left corner. You will then be presented with the page that you can use to create your new topic. Make sure you enter a subject or the post will be rejected by our system. Once you have entered any details that are relevant to your post, hit “Submit”. If you have entered all of the required fields you will be taken to view your post and your topic will then appear on our forum page. If you have any questions, please feel free to PM any of our site staff who will help you the best that they can. [ This message was edited by: ProfessorPool on 2007-06-26 11:13 ]

Exactly.
Seems like good business to me. Owen will also be looked after at United. Fergie will know how and when to play him. Its a long season and Owen is a decent option to have.
Happy enough.

Murray had more winners, more aces and less unforced errors. Roddick just played better in the tie-breaks. I'm sure Murray will be in a wimbledon final in the next few years

Brilliant idea that comp. You end up with a load of teams in it that need a knockout comp due to squad size and they get a champions league format. Mad.
Maybe they need the extra revenue of a league format to get a larger squad? I'm glad you can tell them and UEFA what they need, If only they would read a pool forum

Definitely a hammer of some description.
Claw hammer - Not the sharpest tool in the box, but has his good points. (Entertaining and makes Gerbil look like a mastermind contestant)
Ball pein hammer - Again not the sharpest tool in the box and he is a pein in the balls

I use the Neilmed, snort any remaining water out then use a nasal spray when my nose has dried out a bit. Sounds utterly horrible but it works very well.
Good luck.

On 2009-07-03 09:58 , Rupe Wrote:!!! QUOTE !!! I leave my loft door open in the summer and close it when I start putting the heating on again. It's basic common sense, surely? You insulate things when you want to keep the heat in, and remove the insulation when you don't. Insulation keeps things cooler as well as warmer. My cavity wall insulation helps keep heat out in summer. In the Med they add insulation by shuttering their windows in summer. The loft technique wouldn't work in my house as on a hot day the loft must get to about 40 degrees. Opening the hatch would only result in warming the rest of the house via convection. The loft insulation in place protects the house from the stifling heat that is in the loft. This will all depend on the properties of each house I guess.
