With the recent 'issues' with the Norwich Tour, I was just wondering how Daz Finch was getting on with his repayment plans with everyone that he owes money to?
I assume that everybody he owes money to is now paid up and clear, especially as he was playing a best-of-29 money match against Shaun Johnson in Rileys, Babington Lane, Derby last night. You'll be equally pleased to know that despite almost throwing a 5-0 lead away when the match got to 13-12, Finch held on and secured a 15-12 victory.
Even more shockingly, Finch has also got his next money match lined up against Phill Spencer.
Over to you, the creditors...

Thanks for asking Marv.
Yes repayments of the now defunct PPP are still on-going and will be settled in full with everyone concerned. That has always been the position and hasn't changed.
Just takes time.
The money matches you mention were played with backers involved.

Do you not think that, well quite frankly, it's a piss take to even contemplate playing money matches when you owe people bundles of cash?
Will your 'winnings' be directed at paying off your creditors?

Will your 'winnings' be directed at paying off your creditors? Since the money was owed by PPP, not myself personally, I have no legal obligation to pay anything. Morally, that's a different issue, and I have always stated and been of the view that the players shouldn't lose out and they won't. I will keep sending cheques/paying in to bank accounts for as long as it takes. Anyone who backs me in a money match doubles there money, all I get is the match play and satisfaction of winning which is enough for me because I just enjoy playing the game. I would love to join a tour or play in events and people have offered to pay my fees for me but I know it would be too much grief for me to do that and I wouldn't get a fair crack of the whip. Sorry if that's not good enough but I'm getting on with my life and am entitled to do so.

Was PPP a limited company then? I genuinely wasn't aware of that, if so, fair play.

Cheers Dan.
Like I said above, the position hasn't changed.
ALL players affected by PPP's demise will be reimbursed. Can't make it any clearer.

Will your 'winnings' be directed at paying off your creditors? Darrens winnings is nothing to do with anything else or anyone, if he wins that's his money he can do what he wants with it. Why are you carrying on this, making things hard for him.

If Premier Pool Promotions was a Ltd company, you're not legally liable (like you say). If it wasn't a Ltd company, you very much are liable. But I still say fair play for paying everybody back :)

Mmmmm.... It is his money and me whinging isn't going to make him spend it as it should be, that much is true. However, I firmly believe tha it is morally abhorrent for Daz to be gambling under any circumstances. He is in receipt of benefits for starters and owes people thousands that he stole from them. By the way, in my view anyone in receipt of benefits should not be allowed to gamble, not just Daz. Quote: Why are you carrying on this, making things hard for him.
I didn't do anything. He took money that wasn't his, not me. He made things difficult for himself and refused numerous offers of help, including buying his liabilities off him. In fact, I've done plenty to support Daz since this all came out. I've offered Daz employment in the past 6 months, which he didn't accept (although it wasn't entirely practical for him to take me up on my offer) and continual advice privately. Anyway I'm sure that the people he owes hundreds of pounds to are delighted to hear that he can afford to play money matches and not pay them instead and then splash his winnings around.

just my opinion..hope i not broke any rules/filters etc..and able to post an opinion Clueless, absolutely clueless... SO because I'm not owed money by Daz, I'm not allowed an opinion on his actions? The 'owners' of the site aren't doing anything. Morray and Michael haven't posted on this thread, nor started any threads on this issue to the best of my knowledge. When was the last time this 'issue' was mentioned? October. Why? Because Daz himself resurfaced on the site under various usernames. The time before that? Again, I'd guess at months.
