Can EPA carholders enter this event without fear of reprisals?

All depends where the goalposts are...they do tend to shift a wee bit.....

You should just go...

In the rules it's quite clear.

Rob Pearce is not considered competition to the EPA. There is no reason why anyone should be banned.
My opinion should just be accepted as objectivity itself.

I understand that should I play in or administer a pool event organised in direct competition with the English Pool
Association (EPA), then this registration may be suspended. Events to which this condition has already been
determined to apply are ones not organised by the EPA, or a County Association affiliated to it where the players
purport to represent England or an English county.

The key here is the door is quite clearly left open to determine other events to which this rule could apply..at
the sole dicretion of the EPA!

In my opinion players should choose tp play where they wish and if any disciplinary action then ensues...appeal
it tooth and nail....fight them on the beaches and all that sort of stuff. This being said it s doubtful whther the
EPA, at this moment in time, would target any individual promotions not directly affiliated to other organisations.

Only one way to find out I guess.....
