Amazing. 205 views on a pool website, and not one single reply.

And people say this sport is dying....

Maybe no-one on here fancies it? There are so many comps/opens/tours about these days, it's become much harder to fill things like this. The only one who had any real success at doing this sort of thing was Daz Finch who had quite a following up until he pulled everyone's pants down.

Gone are the days where people would jump in a car and travel 50 miles for a KO because it was the only one remotely near for the next couple of months . .

Well, I won't be pulling anyone's pants down, Danny.

I'm just surprised that there seems to be so little interest in pool on a pool website.

You don't fancy playing yourself, Danny?

I would have done if it wasn't the day before County. My days of being able to play pool both days of a weekend have long passed me by.

Only just seen your response, Steve...

Just tell her that you wear the trousers, and that's that :P

I've tried my best to make this as widely seen as possible. I know there are people who want to play in this sort of event, but getting it in front of their eyes is the tough part.

I've got a decent number of people confirmed now, and hoping for a lot more.

Decent field so far: Three former World Champions in the draw and some real class besides.

Entry still open, give me a shout if you're interested.

Not the best way of getting people to chuck their £25's in but good to get a decent field for an impromptu comp.

Who's entered so far?

I know what you mean, but surely everyone "wants to play better players", etc?

I gather Phil had to pull out..don't know why but would hope that all is well.
Differences and diversity should not be seen as sources of division and distrust, but of strength and inspiration.

I bet Shaun Payne loved that. Get's drilled 8-1 only to see Phil go home and the man in the next round get a bye.

And the prize for stupidest question goes to: YOU.

If there was a score to put in, it would have gone in, would it not?
