Brave. I hope he can turn the clock back a couple of years and win another. |
Manchester United's last THIRTEEN league titles have all been won through favourable refereeing decisions. Fact. :0) |

why couldnt it be nadal v federer for a change?? The beauty of it being random is that any previous draw holds absolutely no bearing on this year. It's still a 50/50 shot. Good call on Venus Charlie. And thanks, although I only had a small dabble. I think you've covered my losses for last night :D

Oli Golding's on court now, looking forward to this one. Gonna be a top rate player.
It is frustrating seeing Murray have to play the same person seemingly every grand slam semi-final but that's just the nature of the draw. 50% chance of landing in the same half of the draw as Nadal doesn't mean he's going to only be in his half of the draw 50% of the time.

were led to believe its a random draw but i dont believe it for a second, it must be something like 15 out of 16 slams now where its happened. iv'e probably gone ott to be fair but i know its an insane amount of times its happened lately.

Good luck.

If Nadal plays Murray in the semis then it's the 5th time in the last 9 majors thats happened.

Is that because one of them has gone out before the semi finals in the other 4 or they were in different halfs? |

Because one of them went out early. I think (without checking) they've only been drawn in different halves once since the beginning of 2009.

Last 14 slams that they've both played they've been in the same half of the draw 12 times. Luck of the draw, that's all.

Inbetween points, about Laura Robson... commentator: "She really does have exquisite timing on the tennis ball"
Very next point, Schiavone serves and Robson air-shots.

Bottled it there did Robson.
Good experience for her though as long as she learns from it |

It's so harsh to say she bottled it. Harsh on both of them.
Schiavone played Robson brilliantly for that last set and a half after she saved triple break-points. Schiavone has more variety and intelligence on the court than anyone else in the game and she needed it all to beat Robson because she was being played off the court for the first 45 minutes.
And I could watch that winner Robson played for 40-40 in that last game all day.

mental strength of a grape, same as most women on court these days, schiavone has it all thats why she won.
no wonder the williams have won so many slams when all they have to do hit hit a winner and there opponents crumble like a moist apple pie
