A teacher friend of mine has been given approval by the Head to set up and After School Pool Club (based in Runcorn) and is looking to pick up a couple of tables for it, I have made contact with the UK Tour and some other organisations but I was wondering what one would expect to pay for these, as is the way with Schools the budget is not great, say up to £350 per table, is this wishful thinking or could this be achievable?

I think you should be able to get a couple of good second hand tables for that price.

Ypu may even try DPT, for a good cause, they may even give you two new ones for £700.

It's a fantastic initiative Kev, get hold of Andy Mac to help with DPT or George would no doubt assist you with supreme.

I think you'll be able to get a couple of good tables for £750
My opinion should just be accepted as objectivity itself.

It's definitely achievable. If you get nowhere with DPT just look on ebay.
I hate being bipolar, it's brilliant.

Thanks for your replies guys, have already emailed Andy Mac, but they were too expensive, have contacted DPT directly and still waiting for a reply.

I am sure we can find something suitable, it really is fantastic idea and one that I think someone, somewhere will support.

Kev you'd be as well off asking a pool club mate.

They'd be getting 2 new tables for £700 which is a bargain.
My opinion should just be accepted as objectivity itself.

Is that the DPT price for 2 tables at the moment?

Our local club is under new ownership and I've said I'll look around for them.
