crouch, carroll, dzeko etc Am I reading this right, you'd rather have Fellani playing up front instead of Aguero, Van Persie, Ba, Cisse, Rooney and numerous others? i thought by naming the 3 strikers i did, i thought you would understand what mould of striker i was talking about......... i would take fellaini over anyone in the premiership who plays his type of role, obviously aguero and van persie are in a different class but fellaini for a big target man was absolutely outstanding yesterday and simply unplayable. probably the best performance i have ever witnessed and drogba has had a few good uns ya know!

He didn't score and his team didn't either. When at home to another mid table club. His job is to score. And at the very least if he doesn't then to assist in a goal. He did neither. And really, how can any Liverpool player take great credit from yesterday? I hadn't seen the game in it's entirity and as such, I'm only going on what I read on forums and Twitter.

As a Liverpool fan wheather he gets MOM or not is neither here or there, IMO ,he was brought to score goals which his not doing. For me he was no more then an expensive panic buy when we sold Torres, just for the fact he was having half a good season. For a Liverpool fan, you've got a shite memory then. Carroll's got 2 winning goals in 3 starts, including the winner in an FA Cup semi-final. Seems reasonable to me. So your saying it reasonable for a player who cost 35 million not to be in double figures by now,and it's not as if he hasn't had the chances.A season is 38 matches not three .I hope he does come good to be honest ,because we definately will not get any where near 35 million if we sell him. The more games Carroll plays, the better he will become. His career at Anfield has been very stop-start with him not getting a run of 8-10 starts in a row. Once that happens, he'll get better. I've every confidence in the lad and at least he is putting the graft in during training and by doing extra sessions, unlike some.

to be fair, other than poor finishing, it wasnt a performance to be down beat about. thats the team, although the wasteful can be leveled at carroll an suarez. the major positive would be henderson looked comfortable in the centre, not sure if it was the lack of pressing from WBA or its his role. see hoqw it goes, but always thought henderson an lucas is a promising pairing for us. The performance warrented a win,I think we had 30 shots on goal and only 6 of them on target says it all really,Problem is if cant score, only takes one mistake as on Sunday to lose a game.I definately think we have struggled as team since Lucus has been out injured though just gave that security at the back, that we dont seem to have with out him.
