The game has just been released. Last season we paid £10 a head into a kitty with 1st and 2nd place paid. If you would like in again let me know and I will add your name to the list. You will need to pm me your e-mail address so I can send the invite I think as I can't see a pin number although I will have another look for it.

edit: I now see pin number so if you want in let me know. Come start of the season monies will need to be lodged with a chosen individual or you will be removed.

The site has a new look to it. Seems pretty tough at the first glance but then that's always the case.

Is this the same site we had the league on last year (http://fantasy.premierleague.com/) ??

If so, count me in.

The Predictions part of the site, with its league system is very good as well, if you want to set that up and double the money in ??

aye it's the exact same one. Each year they change it ever so slightly but this year it's just a new look. They have a tie up with Fantasy Football Scout who will analyze the bonus points and try to explain them etc.

You now get 3 points if you are brought down and it leads to a goal direct from said free kick. Only difference I can see initially.

The predictions part I think is call CYKI (can you kick it). I haven't used it before.

This is the I Know The Score link http://iknowthescore.premierleague.com/ which used to be on the same site as the fantasy team game, the fantasy league does still link from the I Know The Score Site. Its dead easy, can set up a league exactly the same as the fantasy one, you enter your score predictions (Utd 19 - 18 Liverpool etc) 30 points for an exact right score, 10 points for the right result (ie you predict a 2-0 win and they win 1-0). You get one banker (2 or 3 times the points if right (each game is asigned as a 2x or 3x game) which you can play against any game you choose, and you get an insurance each week, which restricts you to a zero if wrong, ie if you are predicting a draw, and your not sure, slap on the insurance, and you wont get -10 points if wrong. You can get some massive swings in points some weeks, especially if there is a shock result (like the weekend last years when Utd, Chelsea and Arsenal all lost to botto half teams in one weekend. You can enter several weeks predictions at once if you want, if going away etc.

Worth looking at, quite good fun, and dont need to have the 'player knowledge' of the fantasy game, anyone can predict a score!!

I agree its a fun wee side bet Dobermann. Already doing an SPL one through the Clydesdale Bank which is free to enter. I-pods as weekly prizes, £500 a month, £10,000 to winner and £5,000 if anyone nails all 6 results one week.

But it's no more than a little fun. Little skill involved.

Anyone having trouble joining the league?

I click on the 'join private league' button, and it does nothing.

Scrap that, eventually it has taken it, after about a 20-min delay.

What's been arranged for paying the dosh over?

Im in, but away on holiday from Friday, so miss the start of the season (well, when I say miss it, I mean will have to suffer watching it from a bar in Majorca, beer in hand) so wont be able to pay until back if details not given before.

I would suggest getting the cash paid in the next couple of days, usually Jase is kind enough to hold the money, maybe he could do this again? Failing that i know a nice african chappie who just requires your bank account details and sort code for your monies...

ok just back from a few days away.

If Jase is ok to handle the cash that would be great (I will pm him). If not I am happy enough to do it if that is ok with the entrants.

I will go and have a look and see who has actually entered the league and paste it in here.

Best get a team picked too!!

I've text Tom to let him know. He played last year.
Manchester United's last THIRTEEN league titles have all been won through favourable refereeing decisions. Fact. :0)
