Haye's probably been promised another crack at a Klitshcko if he can beat Chisora. No surprise K2's German promoter are co-promoting this fight, including handling the ticket sales...

From what I've seen Haye is just as bad. Both give the sport of boxing a bad name. Neither have any real claim as a great boxer. Certainly not an ounce of class between them. | If all you have is a hammer, everything starts to look like a nail. |

Two nothing fighters. I knew Haye wouldn't remain retired. Too much ego and greed.
Hope he gets knocked out by Chisora. Who is another f***ing bum. | Manchester United's last THIRTEEN league titles have all been won through favourable refereeing decisions. Fact. :0) |

The sad thing about this 'grudge' fight is that the two fighters will make loadsa money out of an incident that they should have been locked up for, and Frank Warren will make a pile from PPV despite what he said after the Munich affair. He must have been pleasuring himself to sleep every night since Munich at the prospect of this. His only worry was getting the timing of the announcement right, too early would seem obscene, too late maybe interest would wane.
If it has been announced now how long has he been working on it? Scouring Europe for a licence for Chisora, finding and agreeing a venue, getting the fighters and representatives together (where they behaved perfectly politely together no doubt) to discuss and sign contracts and also to organise his PPV cashcow.
Bet he was working on it the day after Munich. Disgusting behaviour! | FOR GOD'S SAKE!! Why can't people just accept me as the person I pretend to be! |

How do you get maximum profit from two average fighters? You do what they have done! What will the winner go on to achieve? Nothing. | FOR GOD'S SAKE!! I get the impression from some comments that people actually think Boxing is ethical? Can I just remind people that Mayweather is preparing to go into jail for beating his missus and it was only put back until after his fight because it was generating upto $100m for the Vegas area. I haven't seen many people complaining about that being wrong though. Lamont Petersen has just been found out to be taking drugs and has got himself a ban Tyson turned into a cannibal against Holyfield and munched on his ear, he also told Lewis he was going to eat his kids before having a punch up Don King, was running the sport for years and his rap sheet is as long as my arm Many boxers would have been in prison or maybe dead from gang life if they hadn't got into the ring, so expecting some of these to become exemplary role models is never going to happen and one last thing, no one actually knows if the Munich thing with Haye and Chisora wasnt actually staged so that all this could happen. So whilst some may not agree with it, you really should not be surprised. I assume you wont be watching it either Edited by user 09 May 2012 08:58:39(UTC)

If people don't like it then don't watch it, simple as that. I don't like badminton or horse racing, so I don't watch them.
I've got my tickets and am looking forward to the fight.

i went to hamburg to watch nothing more than a farce on the night and promised myself i would never go watch haye again,BUT i am already starting to feel myself wanting to go and thats before all the proper hype starts so i will probably end up going. cant get to the froch fight due to work, and khan fights in vegas nowadays so it be quite good to see these two slug it out in what seems a genuine grudge match.. fancy haye to finish him quite quickly but at least the undercard is generally good on these type of fights on home soil..

The forum title sums this up perfectly.....
90% of all fights since about the 80's have been a farce and this one will be no different, what really gets me is that these 2 did not just bring boxing into disrepute they brough british sport into disrepute and in that respect I think that all the british media should have boycotted promoting it and then by all means get a Luxemberg licence and go and fight over there and see how much interest there is in it.
And shame on Frank Warren too.....boxing promoters...such a bad rep and this goes a long way to confirming peoples opinions.

"90% of fights a farce" wtf?? apart from fraudley and perhaps 1 or 2 others there has been some great fights in the last 30 years. hatton, calzaghe, khan to name a few stars and many other fighters who are just short of world class put on some amazing viewing in trying there absolute hearts out to try and achieve there goals. promoters are and always will be disliked for the way they go about things but proof is in the pudding and come fight night the world and his dog will be tuning in trust me..
