It has become apparent that some teams within our region have played non registered players. Whilst I agree that any points that these players have played and won should be deducted and awarded to the opposing team, I disagree with the points being awarded to the opposing individual player.
You have played and lost ! Yet you get awarded the points for the win because you opponent/team secretary has not completed the relevant paperwork. This not only affects the league tables but also individual player rankings. If I play all season and fail to win our individual county rankings to a player that has been gifted scores then I will be most annoyed.
We all know that you have to be registered so why oh why does this happen again and again? Thoughts, suggestions .....

It will be noted that they lost frames and have been given points by a dodgy ruling

not his fault he played a ringer, the ringer could be world class where as a registered player he might of wiped the floor with him.

I must admit it's annoyed me....... i know if the unregistered player hadn't played at all there would be byes, but i that can be worked around your team and the captain would maybe give different players the free frame. NOT THAT I'M BITTER OR OWT!!

The unregistered players shouldnt be put in & teams should announce they are short so the bye gets put in the number eleven position. Essex have not resorted to putting in unregistered players when short. Justice is done when frames get given back,i'm sure the vast majority of players would claim the frame back if they played a ringer.

Aren't you on the county committee Daz? Therefore surely if there has been some form of chiselling from the Derbyshire side , aren't you partly responsible..?

I would certainly frown on any county, mine included, playing unregistered players. Its not difficult, pay your fiver, fill out a form and you're registered. Though i have nothing to do with the ladies team and who the ladies manager selects on the day is out of my control.

Seems to be the men's and ladies where Lincs have been penalised.
