Yes Ok Mo, I'll do the streaming for you if I must...

1 question...

Am I a cabbage?
My opinion should just be accepted as objectivity itself.

I would say yes but that has nothing to do with the pool event.

To be a cabbage there, you must not win ANY prize money in all the other main events.

So exactly how much is it to stay at the hotel? I've had a quick look but couldn't see the costs.

H, I did have it down as the marine crustacean comp, but in memory of you and your playing career, we decided cabbages it should be.

Click on the links to the hotel and put the accomodation needed and the dates & it'll give you a price. Very reasonable I think - for Danny & I to go it would cost just £520 for the week, including flights.

It's played to Blackball rules, which it tells you on the links also.

Really want to go, but don't think we can just drop everything and spend £1000 we don't really have.

Unless my employers want to pay, that is . . .

Try here to find the link to the flights and here to find the bookings page for the hotel, which will give you a price for the dates.

Young man, before we can do the lists of events and which nights they will be played, we are waiting on two things, first, how many players are attending and what comps they are going into, that is why we are asking them to list the events they would LIKE to play in.

Second and most important, what night the European Champions are playing their football and if they are at home, lots of people, me included went last year, fantastic.

What I can tell you, is that on the finals night we will not be holding all the finals as they are to many and could go on to long and that would be a shame as the party night is also fantastic.
So the seniors, under 23s and mixed dounbles will be played on the Thursday night, with the Open, Ladies singles and the 3 person team final played on the Friday night, cabbages start Friday afternoon and finish on the Friday.

We always start with the team event on the first day/Monday and as such as all players will be playing in this we do no other event that night, so the under 23s will not be on Monday and will finsh on Thursday, so if you decide to come and make the final, you will be all right.

One other thing is the 3 person team event, the people/players who went last year know how we do this but we will have to explain this on the website.

Everyone who wants to play can, we are pool players and as such know or hope to know everyone coming, lets say we get 180 entering the comp, these players will be put into 3 different hats based on how good they are, then we pick one from each hat and that is the team.

So you do not have to come with two mates to make up a team and you get hopefully to play with different people and if like last year, make friends for life.

This also makes it a very open comp that any team can win.

There is no doubles only mixed doubles and if you cannot find a girl in Salou then you will never find one.
